Florence Francisco Kjolseth, whose real name is Francis, claimed his wife’s sister was pregnant and had a miscarriage due to the stress of having a baby in the same room as her father and stepfather. “My stepmother is angry that I am keeping this up too. She should be ashamed,” Kjolseth said.

The couple had been expecting a second child on Sept. 2, but a week before her due date, her father and stepfather, who was the sole breadwinner in the couple’s former home, died of an unknown cause.

“For me, having three children now is about two times harder than having a single child back then,” Kjolseth said. “Having more children makes your life harder than it is because now you have two kids to divide.”

The family’s next move is to seek an order for an immediate termination of their daughter’s pregnancy because they are suffering from the psychological effects associated with it, a legal source said.

Kjolseth’s claim was also rejected by the judge.

“We are disappointed in the Supreme Court’s decision,” a spokesman for the family told the Bangkok Post. “It has been a very difficult decision for us, but we are satisfied and we had asked for permission to request for an immediate termination. We feel that the judge made the right decision.”

Kjolseth and Florence said they would have no further comment as they have not yet received any confirmation of the Supreme Court opinion on their appeals.

The family has filed numerous legal appeals in the past, according to the Bangkok Post. Kjolseth has sued one of her sisters in court for defamation, as well as the mother of the two children named in the lawsuit for negligence.

However, the family is also currently under an income tax injunction, having been unable to pay for an overdue rent check at the same building.
